In 2009, Denise began apprenticing as an assistant CLETS trainer for her agency, and now is the CLETS training team leader for the Napa Police Department.&nbsp; She and her team coordinate quarterly CLETS updates and trainings, as well as ensure that all new hires receive the necessary initial CLETS training. Additionally, Denise&nbsp;serves on both the Incident Fire Dispatch and Tactical Dispatch teams for Napa. &nbsp;<\/p><p>\u200bDenise has been attending the CCUG conference since 2009. She was excited to become a member of the Northern Chapter Board as Treasurer when she was elected to serve for 2013, a position she was re-elected to for 2014. \u00a0Ever respected, Denise was elected to serve as the Northern Chapter secretary for 2015 and then, for the 2016-2017 term, Denise was elected to serve Northern Chapter Director.\u00a0 For 2018-2019 Denise was elected to serve another term as the Northern Chapter Director.   Denise was appointed as the Northern Chapter Assistant Director for 2020.<\/p><p>When not at work, Denise enjoys watching her daughter compete in swim meets, and relaxing at home with her husband, daughter and two basset hounds.
